An exceptional building requires a special destination, which has definitely been given to this monumental building from 1886 in which the Arena Hotel is now situated. Paris is the Mecca of gastronomy. All the same, it doesn’t always have to be fine dining by candle-light in the city of love and lights. Innumerable passionately enthusiastic craftsmen make a wide variety of delicious traditional products. There are masses of brasseries offering simple menus, a laid back atmosphere and attractive terraces, all serving tasty dishes. The Marais is a neighborhood where real Parisians like to go out. The authentic pubs with their attractive terraces look very inviting and the French joie de vivre is infectious. ZONA, Budapest

Few East European cities have so many nice restaurants and bars hidden away in them as Budapest has. In more and more places the mix of old-World grandeur with trendy interior design and beautiful décor makes for a satisfying result. And ZONA is a great example of it. It’s on the Buda side of the Chain Bridge with a view of the water, and the idea is to put that ‘urban vibe’ together in the food and the design of the interior to create a complete experience.
