The quality of a Champagne by luxury Champagne house Piper-Heidsieck never fails to amaze. With hundreds of years of expertise in winemaking, they know how to bottle excellent taste. And rightfully so, they’re the most awarded Champagne house of the century. And now they’re proud to present their 2008 Rare Millésime vintage Cuvée created by Régis Camus.
Since 2008 was a very important year for winemakers thanks to the favorable climate that year, a Rare 2008 could not be missing. That why, for the newest Rare Millésime 2008, legendary winemaker Régis Camus had been operating silently behind the scenes. As Piper-Heidsieck’s proud Cellar Master he wanted to combine the very best of both Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes to create this new vintage. He sourced them both in Montagne de Reims and the combination almost speaks for itself. With an endless freshness, a long-lasting minerality, radiant purity and its subtle contrasts, this Champagne which was disgorged in September 2020 will easily become many winelover’s new favorite.
By the words of Nicolas de Rouyn: “A thousand times celebrated by international critics, this extraordinary cellar master has created legendary champagnes. Today, Rare Champagne has risen to the top of the list of great Champagne wines.”
